Our little Jacob turned 2 a couple weeks ago, I can't believe it! He is quite the social bug...and flirt...depending on the situation. He has to wave hi to just about person who passes by him. He loves to play with his big brother. Whenever he sees a camera pointed at him he instantly says "Chee!" (cheese) or "Cookie!" He still doesn't say a whole lot, but definitely gets his point across. Some words he does say right now are : Mommy, Daddy, bye-bye, "ipah" (ipod), bum-bum, apple, "bawberries" (strawberries), please, thank-you, turkey, roll, cookie, NO, "jee" (Jesus), amen, and I'm sure a few more, I just can't think of them. He eats pretty well...REALLY well compared to Tyler. He loves meat- any kind! He also loves broccoli, strawberries and rolled up turkey. He loves sitting at the sandbox and just running his hand through the sand. He also loves being pushed in the swing. He sleeps well during the day and at night. At his 2 year appointment he measured in at 34 inches and 28lbs, both in the 50th percentile for his age. (Just for reference that same day Tyler measured in at 38 inches and 33lbs.)
We had a fun little party with a few friends. We bought a bubble machine and set it out and let all the kids play with that, the sandbox, and the swing set. Jack also started up a fun game of Koob that some of the older kids decided to join in on. We also got some yummy ice cream cake and made brownies. We had a great time, and were glad it was nice out...even if it was a little windy!

Yay Jacob! Did my kids come to the party? I can't remember! I know I wasn't there. I think those are darn close to Evan's stats at age 2. Well, I just looked and he was 27 lbs and 34 inches. Allison was 28 lbs and 34 inches. Funny how close they are!
