(I really should just call this my PICTURE blog, since that's what I mostly put on here. I was never any good at scrapbooking because I can never pick just one or two pictures, there are too many to choose from!)
Over Memorial Day weekend this year Katy decided it was time for her to start crawling (at almost 10 months old to the day)! She is our first baby not to start with the army crawl (which is a little sad to me). Her little starting crawl was so darn cute...tiny, tiny movements. Over the following two weeks she became more and more confident and began to figure out her boundaries in the apartement. It wasn't long before she realized that there really wasn't anywhere she couldn't go. She is giving the boys a run for their money when it comes to her accessing their toys. She loves to be involved with whatever they are doing. Jacob has been getting very frustrated with her need to be involved. I have to keep my eye on him because ever since she began crawling he must think she is big now and he can push her over, or do whatever it takes to keep her from taking a toy, or getting in his way. Don't worry though, when she's not bugging him he still absolutely adores her, as does Tyler. Most recently she has begun to fight back, it's really quite hilarious seeing them play tug of war with a toy, each screaming at each other.

Then came her pulling up on things....this was her first try at it.
Then came the "Baby Monster!"....not a day goes by that I don't have to fish some lego
or small toy out of her mouth.
She absolutely loves when we create tents, a daily occurance around here.
They were all rolling the ball to each other....until she spotted mommy with the camera
