Birthday Boy!

Our little Jacob turned 4 at the end of April and we had so much fun throwing him his first "friends" party. This kid is so into Star Wars, so of course he requested a Star Wars party. I was looking up Star Wars party ideas fora  while and found some grand, wildly awesome ideas....but then realized I'm not Martha Stewart...nor ever will be, so we went simple...and it was a grand and wildly awesome party to HIM, and that's what matters right? We invited a few of his favorite buddies from church to Jedi training. They were asked to report to Jedi masters Tiffany and Jack. We mostly just let the boys play, but we did play one game- "Jedi Light Saber Training". We had little blow up light sabers for each of them and they each had to keep a balloon from touching the ground.

Mom and Dad with the birthday boy....he was going through a funky smile phase, so in order to get a decent smile we had to tickle him...hence the wierd expressions he has

I absolutely adore this picture.

He got so many great presents from his friends and brother. Tyler was so excited to pick out a birthday present for Jake...probably because he knew he'd get to play with it too. Jack enjoyed putting all the Lego's together too!
