Jacob is 11 months!

I can't believe our little baby Jacob is almost 1 year old! He is always moving and definitely letting his personality shine through recently. He weighs around 23-24 pounds, has 6 teeth in, and crawls super fast. He has started to refuse baby food, and actually for about a whole week after our trip to Kansas City he refused to eat anything at all and would only nurse...that was a rough, frustrating week. He is eating better now, but won't take anything from a spoon from us and wants to eat everything on his own. He still sleeps HORRIBLY at night, so I'm crossing my fingers that when we get in the house and he has his own room that'll change...we'll see. He throws a huge fit if you take something away from him that he wants (like a toy, food, or a sippy cup...especially sippy cups). When he throws a fit he just throws his hands in the air and then throws himself to the floor and lays there for a few seconds, then does it again. It's pretty cute and funny most of the time...right now at least. He loves to clap his hands and has a huge smile when he does it. Anytime he hears music he starts to wave his arms around like he's leading it, and bounces up and down dancing to it. He is cruising along the furniture and loves to see how long he can let go for. A few times here and there he has forgotten that he can't walk yet. He will see me or something else that he wants and just go for it, but face plant it because he can't actually walk yet. Me and Tyler have been trying to teach him some sign language (we taught Tyler a little bit when he was a baby and it helped so much!), he has been signing "all done" for a few weeks now, and just today he signed "more"! He loves to always be right where Tyler is, still loves to wrestle with him, and laughs at just about anything Tyler does or says. We just love him so much and love watching him learn and grow each and every day!
